Remembering those who perished . . .

Frances Appel lived in Plains Township. She worked for part-time in the bakery department at Boscov's Department Store in Wilkes-Barre prior to retirement. She is survived by two sons, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Frances was 73.

Donna Barbini Cali lived in Dunmore. She was an active volunteer in the community. She is survived by her husband and two sons.

Eugene Decker lived in Dalton. He was developer of the Fawnwood housing development in West Mountain area of Scranton. He was a partner with his brother Gerald in a general contracting business in Dalton.

Gerald Decker lived in Fleetville. He was a partner in business with his brother Eugene.

Sharon Decker lived in Fleetville. She is the wife of Gerald Decker. The couple is survived by two sons.

Florence Erhardt lived in Cherry Ridge Township. She was an employee of the county courthouse, and mother of Donna Cali. She is survived by her husband and daughter.

Wayne Frantz lived in Hawley. He was a certified public accountant. He is survived by his wife and three year old son.

Joan Fumanti lived in Mountaintop. She retired from Harris Semiconductor Plant in Mountaintop. Her husband died some time ago.

Bernie Kachinko, Sr. lived in Larksville. He was a paving contractor and active civic-minded person. He is survived by his wife, sons, daughters and grandchildren.

Joan Kunkle lived in Wilkes-Barre. She was employed as a sales representative for General Mills Corporation before retirement. She sang in her church choir. Her husband preceded her in death. She was 63.

Nancy Maleski lived in Moosic. She was homemaker. She is survived by her husband, a son, two daughters and grandchildren. She was 66.

Elaine Maleski Pilosi lived in Moosic. She was director of Wee Care Day Care in Blakely. She was the daughter of Nancy Maleski who also was killed in the crash. She is survived by two sons. She was 46.

Diane Schwartz lived in Slocum Township. She was employed by Intersil Corporation at the Crestwood Industrial Park, Mountaintop. She is survived by a daughter and grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband. She was 56

Robert Supatosky lived in North Scranton. He was an Army Veteran and retired as a truck driver. He was 62.

Lillian Supatosky lived in North Scranton. She was a candymaker at Gertrude Hawk Chocolates in Dunmore. She and husband Robert were married forty years. The couple is survived by a daughter. She was in her 60's.

Andrea Yanchausky lived in Exeter. She served as Executive Director of National Certified Pipe Welding Bureau and was employed for more than twenty five years by Mechanical Contractors Trade Association of Northeastern Pennsylvania. She is survived by a son. She was 54.

Dolores Yanchausky lived in Exeter. She was employed by Northeastern Eye Clinic in Plains Township. She was sister to Andrea Yanchausky. She was single with no children. She was 55.

Cam Basat lived in Hicksville, New York. He was First Officer on the flight from Atlantic City to Avoca.

Gregory MacVicar lived in Farmingdale, New York. Captain MacVicar was piloting the doomed twin-engine airplane. He is survived by a wife and three children.
