On July 25th 2000, a British Airways Concorde Supersonic Jet crashed while departing from Charles DeGaulle Airport, Paris, France, after failing to maintain altitude during takeoff. French Investigators are focusing on left-wing engine failure and fire possible caused by debris injested in the aircraft's massive left-wing engine.

Oshkosh AirVenture 2000 held annually at Whitman Field, Oshkosh, Wisconsin, had scheduled flying demonstrations by the Concorde at this year's show. (2000) Having seen the magnificent jet fly at Oshkosh Airshow '90, I can attest to the fact that that each of the more than 750,000 spectators in attendance will be in disbelief upon learning of "Concorde" crash. Concorde Flight Demonstrations magnify man's amazing skill in building magnificent structural designs. I cannot comprehend the fact that the magnificent jet has crashed with fatal results.
