Richard Petty No.43 spectacular crash in the 1988 Daytona 500 occurred while rolling fast out of Turn 4. The STP Dodge slammed headon into the the wall sending the famous racecar tumbling down the straight stretch. Petty amazingly survived the terrible wreck.
