Rescue Crews Respond To The Scene

Rescues crews responding to the crash site had rehearsed responding to airplane crashes many times during drills. This was no drill. The unimaginable real thing had actually occurred. Luzerne County Coroner Dr. Hudock who faced a monumental task in identifying the bodies expressed his emotional feelings during a final press briefing on the crash by stating, "I've never seen anything that encompassed the pain and suffering witnessed by family members dealing with the sudden loss of a loved one. Dr. Hudock and a host of other pathologists managed to identify the remains of all deceased putting to rest thoughts that a loved one may never be identified by authorities.

Final Conclusion

The National Transportation Safety Board will someday release a final report on the fatal crash of Executive Jet-owned BA-31 Jetstream at Bear Creek, Pennsylvania, Sunday, May 21, 2000.
